MILFORD STREE RESURFACING BIDS

Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that the Town Council of the Town of Milford, Indiana,will accept sealed bids for the repair and resurfacing of various streets in the Town of Milford until 7:00 p.m. October 9, 2017, at which said day and hour the bids received will be opened and read aloud. The contractor awarded the bid will be announced upon the town receiving the Community Crossing Grant. Please bid the project individually and as a whole project.
The repair and resurfacing work shall consist of all necessary cleaning or grading and preparation of locations and furnishing materials and application thereto of materials as set forth in the specifications. The streets to be repaired and resurfaced are set forth in the specifications.
Interested bidders may obtain specifications and additional information relative to such street repair and resurfacing work from Steven Marquart, Street Superintendent,at his office at 121S. Main St., Milford, Indiana 46542, phone 574-658-4614.
Each bid shall be submitted on the State Board of Accounts form number 96 with the Unit Bid Sheet attached. Form 96 shall be fully executed and notarized complete with all information requested including bidder's financial statement and the non-collusion affidavit. A certified check or bank draft payable to" Clerk-Treasurer of the Town of Milford," or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and surety company in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid shall be submitted with each bid.
Bids shall be sealed and submitted to the Clerk-Treasurer of the Town of Milford, located in the Milford Town Hall, at 121S. Main St., Milford, Indiana 46542, marked "Bid for Street Resurfacing."
The Town Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, readvertise and to waive any informalities in the bidding process.
