NORTH MANCHESTER — Ray Shepherd, 69, North Manchester,                   died at 5:30 a.m. Sept. 12, 2017, at Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester, from complications of Lewy body dementia.

He was born March 15, 1948, in Gunlock, Ky., to Oakie and Lynda Bailey Shepherd. He was married to Jeanie Sue Purvis on April 12, 1978. She died Sept. 22, 2011.

He worked at Wabash Manufacturing, Silver Lake, for 10 years.

The funeral will be at noon Saturday, with calling two hours prior, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester. The Rev. Sue Babovec will officiate.

Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
