He was born June 23, 1947, in Wolf Lake, to the late Jack
Randy was a graduate of Culver Military Academy, Culver, and Indiana University, Bloomington, with a B.S. in marketing, and served in the Army National Guard for six years. He served as a steward for Warsaw Presbyterian Church and on the board of directors of Tippecanoe Lake Country Club.
He spent his entire business career with Whitley Products Inc., serving the past 20 years as president and chief executive officer before retiring in late 2006.
And oh how he loved his retirement, thoroughly enjoying the beautiful southwest Arizona mountains and desert. He was an avid outdoorsman who always looked forward to spending time on the golf links with his buddies, along with hiking,
Soon after he retired he joined a local men’s small Bible study, and he was forever thankful for the love and support of his small band of Bible warriors. At the end of his life, Randy felt he fought the good fight, that he finished the race and that he kept the faith.
Also surviving in addition to his wife are two children, John David Lowe (Tricia), Centennial Colo., and Elizabeth Ashley Lowe, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Kristine Moore Hackleman (William), Warsaw, and Kathleen C. Guilliam (John), Noblesville; two stepbrothers, William Haines, Huntington, and John Haines (Diane), Indianapolis; two stepsisters, Joanne
He was preceded in death by a grandson,
He truly enjoyed his time as Grandad or King of the House, as referenced by his younger grandchildren.
