Lady Squires 4th At Valley
AKRON – Manchester’s Jadyn Webb finished second overall, leading the Lady Squires to a fourth-place finish in Saturday’s Tippecanoe Valley Invitational cross country races. The Lady Vikings were eighth in the meet.
Tornia Runkel was 15th and Katie Baker 18th for Manchester. Jadyn Kolesiak was Valley’s top finisher, taking 27th. Triton had two runners in the girls race, paced by Baylee McIntire’s 21:03.
The Squire boys finished fifth. Tippecanoe Valley was eighth, Triton ninth and Whitko 12th.
Lance Bennett led local runners, finishing 16th for Manchester. Logan Busz was 23rd for Whitko, Josiah Page was 31st for Triton, and Jordan Owens was 32nd for Valley. Rye Stevens covered the course for Lakeland Christian in 21:35.
Manchester, Triton and Tippecanoe Valley will run in Saturday’s New Prairie Invitational. Whitko goes to Ligonier to run in the West Noble Invitational Saturday.

Spencer Hare was 15th for the Warriors, with Luke Griner finishing 18th. Michael Hammer was 58th, Braxton Alexander 60th and Jace Alexander finished 77th.
Kenzie Smith was 26th for the Lady Warriors. Caitlin Wortinger took 58th, Valerie Pizana was 72nd, Aubrey Kuhn 75th and Reagan Atwood 87th.

Warsaw hosts Concord and NorthWood in a Northern Lakes Conference race Tuesday. Wawasee travels to Elkhart Memorial for an NLC competition.
