County Jail Bookings

The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 6:09 a.m. Friday – Brandon Lee Fitzgerald, 20, of 502 Crestlane Drive, Warsaw, arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $600.

• 1:05 p.m. Friday – Angel Lee Halsey, 30, of 3781 N. Ind. 13, Pierceton, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.

• 2:50 p.m. Friday – James Robert Roder, 32, of 3616 W. CR 700S, Claypool, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $2,554.14.

• 3:23 p.m. Friday – Samantha Lynn Lackey, 19, Goshen, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $283.

• Tracy M. Bogner, 31, of 347 E. Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, arrested for court. No bond set.

Personal Injury Accident

• 3:10 p.m. Thursday – East Market Street at South Bronson Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Eric Lopez, 22, Fort Wayne; Roberto A. Lorenzana, 74, East CR 200N, Warsaw. A passenger in Lorenzana’s vehicle, Juana D. Mendez, 73, East CR 200N, Warsaw, complained of pain to her abdomen and pelvis and was treated at the scene. Lopez was cited for disregarding a stop sign. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.



Property Damage Accidents

• 6:33 a.m. Thursday –  South CR 1000W north of West CR 500S, Mentone. Vehicle hit tree. Driver: Jonathan S. Hopkins, 22, Ind. 14, Akron. Damage: $5,000-$10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 7:45 a.m. Thursday – East CR 800S, South Whitley.  Vehicle hit parked vehicle. Driver: Tammi D. Mazura, 58, East CR 800S, South Whitley; parked vehicle registered to Augustin W. Mazura, South Whitley. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. KCSD.

• 1:06 p.m. Thursday – Ind. 15 north of West CR 350N, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Jody N. Sisk, 34, Levi Lee Road, Warsaw; John J. Hill, 38, South CR 1075E, Akron. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. WPD.

• 2:20 p.m. Thursday – East Market Street west of South Lindberg Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Jacob A. Gall, 32, East Market Street, Warsaw; Sarah A. Estep, 29, South CR 500W, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. WPD.

• 4:46 p.m. Thursday – U.S. 30 west of Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Car hit highway sign, electrical box, utility pole. Driver: James F. Marti, 20, North CR 352E, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. WPD.

• 5:45 p.m. Thursday – Ind. 15 south of Southwood Drive, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Johnny A. Mullen, 17, Carthage, Mo.; Karen A. Saffen, 65, Oak Drive, Warsaw. Damage:  $10,000-$25,000. KCSD.

• 5:45 p.m. Thursday – South CR 250E at East Old 30, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Nichole L. Caudill, 30, East CR 200N, Warsaw; Mary E. Heminger, 70, EMS C19 Lane, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. KCSD.

• 11:19 a.m. Thursday – Fraud on debit cards totaling $4,000 was reported in the 4300 block of Deer Run, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 2:55 p.m. Thursday – A man was picked up on a warrant in the 2100 block of East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:43  p.m. Thursday – Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 8200 block of East Hatchery Road/North Eagle Trail, Syracuse. KCSD.

• Midnight Thursday – A suspicious person was reported at PNC Bank and was found at Milford Public Library; the person was determined to have three outstanding warrants. Milford Police Department investigated.

• 1:47 a.m. Friday – A report was taken at a storage unit in the 4400 block of North Ind. 15, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 4:47 a.m. Friday –  The theft of $600 was reported in the 100 block of EMS B51 Lane, Warsaw. KCSD.

• 5:17 a.m. Friday –  Possession of paraphernalia and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor were reported in the 500 block of Crestlane Drive, Warsaw. WPD.
