Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary

The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary is taking orders for its annual fruit and nut sale.

Order forms are available from any auxiliary member or the Salvation Army office, 574-267-5361 or 574-268-7195. To download an order form, go to www.sawarsaw. org.

Forms should be turned in to the Salvation Army office, 501 E. Arthur St., Warsaw, IN 46580. Deadline to turn in order forms is Oct. 6. Payment is due at the time of the order.

Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov.  16-17 at Center Lake Pavilion.



Kosciusko County Retired Teachers

The Kosciusko County Retired Teachers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Miller's Senior Living Center, 1634 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw.

Lunch will be at noon.

Following a short business meeting led by Julie Martin and Deb Satterley, a presentation on "Career Center Programs" is planned.

Any retired teacher who lives in Kosciusko County or has taught here is welcome.

Annual dues are $10, lunch is $5. The first visit as a guest is free.

Kosciusko Kettleheads Homebrew Club

The Kosciusko Kettleheads Homebrew Club will at 3 p.m. Sunday at Hoplore Brewing, Leesburg.

Those interested in the fine art of fermentation are invited to attend, and all current, former or potential brewers are welcome.

The Kettleheads meet the second Sunday of every month. The Oct. 8 meeting will be at Mad Anthony's, Warsaw.



Wednesday Night Bridge Group

The group had seven tables at its Sept. 6 meeting, with the following winners: Charlie Ker, Connie Ker, John Wagley, Joan Kizer, Jerry Metz, Joyce Latta, Hugh Ressler and Phil Gutman.

Janet and John Wagley are hostess and host for September.



Four Seasons Ladies Bridge

The Four Seasons Ladies Bridge met Sept. 6 at the Great Wall, Warsaw.  

Winners were Maxine Harris, Judy Stewart, Nanette Newland and Virginia Horn.  

Barb Calhan was the hostess.



Pizza King Bridge

The Pizza King bridge group played on Sept. 7, with Rosalee Spear as hostess.

Winners were Evelyn Marsh and Mary Eherenman.
