Baked Steak Dinner Planned Sept. 15

NORTH MANCHESTER — North Manchester United Methodist Church invites the public to a baked steak dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 15.

Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 7-12. Carry-out will be available.

The church is at 306 E. Second St., North Manchester.



Dallas Holm Coming to Quaker Haven

SYRACUSE — Dallas Holm will be in concert at 6 p.m. Sept. 17 at Quaker Haven Camp.

Holm is in the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and has received Dove Awards for Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. His No. 1 songs include “Rise Again,” “Here We Are” and “Face to Face.” He also received a Grammy nomination.

The concert is free, but a love offering will be collected for the Full Life Crusade Mission in Haiti.

Revival Sept. 13-15 At Water Of Life Church

SILVER LAKE — Revival meetings are planned next week at Water of Life Church.

The services will begin at 6 p.m. Sept. 13-15. ?Hoss Allen and Jim Music of Michigan will be the speakers.

Gospel Concert Sunday At Riverview

TIPPECANOE — The Down East Boys of Reidsville, N.C., will give a concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Community Church.

The Down East Boys have traveled across the United States, Canada and Mexico for more than 30 years. They have worked with affiliate evangelists of the Billy Graham Association, including Franklin Graham, Ralph Bell and Jim Wilson.

They have received awards from the Singing News Fan.

The group says its goal is to encourage and challenge Christians while reaching out to those who need Jesus.

There is no charge for the concert. A love offering will be collected.

Camp Meeting Sept. 24-27 At New Creation

The Awakening will be Sept. 24-27 at New Creation Fellowship, Warsaw.

The camp meeting kicks off Sept. 24 with Dr. Macel Ely speaking in the 10:30 a.m. service. Ely will speak that evening at 6, and again at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 25. On Sept. 26, the speaker will be Pastor Danny Douglas, while Pastor Ron Russell will speak at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 27.
