Open House Planned For Scotts' 50th

Ronald and Karen Scott, Tippecanoe, are celebrating 50 years together.

Ron and the former Karen Kesler were married Sept. 9, 1967, at First Presbyterian Church in Warsaw by the Rev. W.J. Vamos.

Ron worked for R.R. Donnelley & Sons for 44 years before retiring in 2009. He continues to farm part-time. Karen retired from Biomet in 2005.

Their family says the Scotts have been a model of faith, commitment and perseverance in their marriage to their children and grandchildren.

Their children are Ronald (Tanya) Scott Jr., Plymouth; Travis Scott, Claypool; and Christian (Nicholas) Treber, Mentone. They have four grandchildren: Will, Jeremiah, Elijah and Charlotte.

Friends and relatives are invited to an open house to celebrate their anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at 1021 18th Road, Tippecanoe.
