Warsaw’s No. 2 Doubles Pulls Out 3-2 Win Over Plymouth
PLYMOUTH – After splitting four straight-set matches with Plymouth, Warsaw’s Nolan Knight and Reuben Williams pulled put a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 victory at No. 2 doubles, giving the Tigers a 3-2 boys tennis win in Northern Lakes Conference play Thursday.
Bailey Buhrt and Kyler Bartol used a second-set tiebreaker to win at No. 1 doubles and Colton Lind won at No 1 singles.
Warsaw won five of 12 junior varsity matches.
The Tigers (5-2, 3-0 NLC) continue NLC play Tuesday when they host Northridge.

AKRON – Tippecanoe Valley enjoyed its best performance of the year, dropping just three games in four matches in a 5-0 sweep of LaVille in a non-conference boys tennis match Thursday.
Neither the doubles team of Dakota Parker and Payton Mills, nor Garrett Feldman at No. 3 singles lost a game. Seth Hoffman dropped one game in his win at No. 1 singles, and Eric Wright had a pair of 6-1 sets in his victory at No. 2 singles.
LaVille forfeited the No. 2 doubles match.
On Tuesday Valley will travel to Bourbon for a non-conference match with Triton.
Trojans Beat Whitko
SOUTH WHITLEY – Triton earned a 5-0 sweep of Whitko in a non-conference boys tennis match Thursday.
The Trojans’ Gavin Greer took a three-set win over Aidan Hoffman at No. 3 singles.The rest of the matches were decided in straight sets.
Triton will play at Bethany Christian Saturday. Whitko hosts Peru in Three Rivers Conference play Tuesday.
