Phillip Eugene Bontrager was born at 5:37 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, in Blessed Beginnings Care Center, Nappanee. He weighed 7 pounds, 1.5 ounces, and measured 19¼ inches.

Grandparents are Earl and Karen Mast and Mervin and MaryEsther Bontrager.

Phillip joins a brother, Hosea Lamar.
