County Jail Bookings

 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 11:28 a.m. Thursday – Marissa Michelle Billings, 29, of 3762 W. Old 30 #74E, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set. 

• 2:44 p.m. Thursday – Zeke Kaden Brown, 21, Jamestown, Tenn., arrested for domestic battery on a victim under 14. Bond: $6,000.

• 3:36 p.m. Thursday – Danny Jacob, 55, of 9781 E. Rock A Bye Road, Cromwell, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $1,000.

• 3:38 p.m. Thursday – Danny Lee Prater, 31, of 5097 E. Pierceton Road, Pierceton, arrested for criminal mischief. Bond: $500.

• 4:43 p.m. Thursday – Mary Jean Emiline Howard, 49, of 1611 Market St., Warsaw, arrested for compulsory school violation. No bond set.

• 5:22 p.m. Thursday – Hannah Marie Brown, 25, of 19 EMS B60 Lane, Warsaw, arrested for possession of a narcotic. No bond set.

• 8:22 p.m. Thursday – Ezekiel Dewayne Fitzpatrick, 23, of 318 S. Lake St., Warsaw, arrested for conspiracy to commit a felony, resisting law enforcement and two counts of failure to appear. Bond:$11,000.

• 2:28 a.m. Thursday – Varun Vedantnham, 24, of 4305 Kuder Lane, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Bond: $700. 

• 3:13 a.m. Thursday – Katrina Jo Lackey, 32, Elkhart, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $448.50.





Property Damage Accidents 

• 7:32 a.m. Thursday – Intersection of U.S. 30 and CR 500W, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Kimberly Lattea, 47, CR 125N, Etna Green. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 7:44 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of CRs 650E and 200N, Pierceton. Car hit telephone pole. Driver: Michael Morrow, 59, Logansport. Damage: $10,000 to $25,000. KCSD. 

• 12:51 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Old 30 and Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Clarke Rutledge, 56, CR 200N, Warsaw; Thomas Brown, 72, Sylers Lane, North Manchester. Damage: $750 to $1,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 7:26 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Ind. 25 and Bruner Road, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Rodney Hughes, 54,  Ind. 25, Mentone. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.

• 8:13 p.m. Thursday – Intersection of Ind. 19 and CR 900S, Mentone. Car hit deer. Driver: Arthur O’Connor, 79, Beachwood Street, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.



Incidents

• Midnight Thursday – A person reported the theft of a Kindle Fire from her vehicle in the 2000 block of Julian Drive, Warsaw, KCSD.

• 11:05 a.m. Thursday – A person reported the theft of car stereos in two cars in the 400 block of West Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw. WPD.
