County Jail Bookings

 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.

•12:34 p.m. Tuesday – Zachary Richard Defries, 28, of 322 E. High Street, Atwood, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $285.

• 8:11 p.m. Tuesday – Rebecca Lynn Foss, 37, Ligonier, arrested for theft. No bond set. 

• 9:27 p.m. Tuesday – Sheila Northcutt, 38, of 10078 W. CR 650N, Etna Green, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and driving while suspended. Bond: $700.

•11:02 p.m. Tuesday – John Alexander Hutchinson, 46, of 104 E. Walnut St., Claypool, arrested for driving while suspended and failure to submit to a chemical test. No bond set. 

•1:08 a.m. today – Shelby Alan Laubham, 23, Ligonier, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $700.



Property Damage Accidents

•10:33 a.m. Tuesday – 2211 E. Center St., Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Jamie Behling, 44, CR 200S, Warsaw; James Lohse, 73, CR 700N, Leesburg. Damage: $1,000 to $2,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

•6:21 p.m Tuesday – 2501 Walton Boulevard, Warsaw. Drivers: Jerry Laurien, 75, CR 100N, Warsaw; Alan Carpenter,  71, Ind. 13, Pierceton. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

•1:18 p.m Tuesday – A person reported a runaway in the 900 block of Anchorage Road, Warsaw. WPD.

•7:25 p.m. Tuesday – A person reported shoplifting at Walmart in the 2500 block of
