October 18, 2017 at 5:45 p.m.

By Staff Report-

Each year, Combined Community Services offers Adopt-A-Family where CCS and the community team up to help support local families struggling financially by providing Christmas gifts for their children.

This year, sign-up will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Nov. 1.

In order to sign up for Adopt-A-Family on Nov. 1, families need to live in Kosciusko County, have children that are a senior in high school or younger, and be experiencing a hardship.

Families should bring one of the following to sign up: birth certificates, school registrations or other legal document showing custody/guardianship for all children in the household.

CCS is asking that only first-time families come Nov. 1. Families who have received Adopt-A-Family in the past can check with CCS after the initial sign-up to see if spots are still available.

If you are unable to attend an adopter event, but would still like to support a family this Christmas, contact Christie Borzeniatow at 574-269-6019, ext. 222, or [email protected].
