Triton Wins Fourth-Straight VB Sectional Title

In the semifinal win over the Lady Cavaliers, Nicole Sechrist had nine kills, four aces and four blocks for the Lady Trojans. Charlotte Morris had seven kills, Hannah Wanemacher had 20 assists, Emma Ross three aces and Sydney Musilli 11 digs in the winning cause.
Wanemacher returned in the finals against the Lady Tigers to post 23 assists and two blocks. Sechrist had 14 kills and four aces, Morris finished with nine kills and Musilli 10 digs in the finals.
Triton returns to Culver Community for regional play Saturday. The Lady Trojans will take on Hoosier North Athletic Conference champion Pioneer in the second semifinal at noon. The Lady Panthers beat Triton 21-25, 25-21, 25-17, 26-24 on Sept. 26 in Royal Center.
The first regional semifinal has Morgan Township (22-10) taking on Lakewood Park Christian (17-12) at 10 a.m. The semifinal winners play at 7 p.m. for the title.
