Blackfords Share 67 Years Of Marriage

Myron Blackford and the former Barbara Rose were married Oct. 7, 1950, in the home of the Rev. Edward E. DeWitt. Mirl and Betty Leek were their witnesses.
Dean and Barb worked at Uniroyal (Royalite), Warsaw. They both retired Jan. 20, 1995 (Dean’s birthday), after 28 years of service. They were the first married couple to retire from Uniroyal.
The couple wintered in Arcadia, Fla., for more than 25 years, and also traveled many places.
Their children are Russell B. (Amber L.)?Blackford, Leesburg; and Myra J. Kimball, Rhonda K. Cox and David M. (Kelly S.) Walker Jr., all of Warsaw. They have 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
A small get-together celebration is planned with their siblings and children on Sunday.
