Triton Names Distinguished Young Women

Emily Chickering was named the 2018 Distinguished Young Woman of Triton on Saturday. Chickering will join other senior girls from across the state the week of Feb. 11 to vie for the title of Indiana’s 2018 Distinguished Young Woman. Other award winners include: first runner-up, Emma Ross; second runner-up, Montana Golden; third runner-up, Nicole Sechrist; scholastic achievement, Sechrist; talent, Montana Golden; self-expression, Chickering; fitness, Ross; interview, Chickering; spirit of DYW, Jingle Grigsby; director’s choice, Sara Stevens; artistic ad, Sechrist; ticket sales, Emma Ross; and Triton's Junior Mister, Max Slusser.
