NORTH MANCHESTER – M. Marceline Russell, 94, Pierceton, died at 5:59 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, at Mason Healthcare and Rehab, Warsaw.

She was born in Sidney and was the daughter of Roy F. and Clara Metzger Michael.

She graduated from Sidney High School in 1941. She was a member of Pierceton United Methodist Church.

She was a custodian at Sidney High School and later retired from Heckman Bindery, North Manchester, after 30 years of service. She then worked as a custodian for Sprint, Warsaw.

On Sept. 12, 1942, she married Delbert L. Grindle, who died Nov. 29, 1962. On Sept. 24, 1965, she married Roy M. Russell, who died April 1, 1996.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Diane Archer, who died in 1984; three brothers, Delbert R. “Dimer” Michael, Donald E. Michael and Harold J. Michael; a sister, Mildred M. McKee and two infant sisters, Opal and Marjorie Michael; and one stepson.

Survivors include two grandsons, Tom (Sonia Sturgill) Kinch, Warsaw, and Todd Kinch, Pierceton; nine stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; 17 step-great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; 16 step-great-great grandchildren; and one step-great-great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at noon, Tuesday, Oct. 3 at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester. Pastor Holly White will officiate. Calling hours will be two hours prior to services. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton.
