By Staff Report-

Kosciusko County Community Foundation was recently presented with a $1,200 donation to benefit The Smithstrong Foundation Fund.

The donation was presented by Glam owner  Michelle Smith LeDrew. The donation represented proceeds, after expenses, from Flight #G3 The Fashion Gala, Glam’s third anniversary fundraiser for the Smithstrong Foundation Fund.

The event was held on Nov. 2.

The Smithstrong Foundation Fund is a component fund of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation. The fund was established by Michelle Smith LeDrew and Ryan Smith in memory of their father, Charlie Smith, and their brother, Scott Smith, who passed away in a plane crash in 2015.

The fund annually distributes a grant to Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation to allow them to recognize outstanding student athletes at Tippecanoe Valley High School (TVHS), who exemplify the values that Charlie and Scott demonstrated in their daily lives.
