Manchester Plans ‘Christmas At Firehouse’ To Celebrate Seasonal Songs And Stories

The event, from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 8, is a holiday celebration for family in all its forms: singles and grandparents, moms and dads, and kids of all ages. The event will also serve as a benefit for The Firehouse arts facility.
The evening will feature the music of LuAnne Harley and Brian Kruschwitz, along with Eric and Jennifer Reichenbach. Stories and songs by the Eel River Rambler (J.P. Freeman) will also be featured. Guests are invited to share their favorite stories as they have a bowl of chili and a beverage. The meal will include a vegan option.

Children can spend time at the craft table, where they can color pictures and create ornaments. In addition, Santa Claus will share “Twas the Night Before Christmas.”
There is no charge to attend the event, but donations will be accepted for operation of The Firehouse. The all-ages arts facility offers live music, performing arts productions and a platform for local artists. Many events are offered at no cost. The Firehouse is managed by a team of volunteers.
The Firehouse is at 108 W. Main St., North Manchester.
