Two of the better area girls basketball teams met in South Whitley Thursday night for one final tune up before the state playoffs begin next week. In a game that was fast-paced and fun for the entirety of the contest, it was Whitko holding on to beat Wawasee 63-53 to pick up its third win in four nights.
