He was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Elkhart, to Lark Raymond and Hattie Aquilla Davisson Becker.
He graduated in 1945 from Milford High School and was a United States Navy veteran. He was married on Aug. 14, 1949, in Milford, to Josephine E. “Jo” Rensberger, who survives.
He formerly farmed for many years, was a self-employed siding applicator for 20 years, worked as a milk truck driver, dump truck gravel hauler, plant manager for Lyall Electric in Wolf Lake, and retired as a computer draftsman. He was a lifetime Milford/Leesburg/North Webster area resident.
He was a life member and past commander of American Legion Post 253, North Webster, and former member of 40 & 8.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Becker; a daughter, Stacy Huff, Nappanee; a son, Daniel (Pamela) Becker, Leesburg; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law, Jimmy Huff.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster.
Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Wyman of the Church of the Brethren in North Webster officiating. Military services by North Webster American Legion will follow funeral services at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. Private family burial will take place in Milford Cemetery.
