The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 12:33 p.m. Wednesday – Michael Binstock, 56, Columbia City, arrested for theft. No bond set.

• 1:31 p.m. Wednesday – Levi Jackson Yeager, 29, of 210 S. Elm St., #60, Etna Green, arrested for possession of meth, dealing meth and on a civil warrant. Bond: $20,800.

• 1:35 p.m. Wednesday – Terry Lee Masterson, 37, of 620 N Lincoln St., Warsaw, arrested for possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $600.

• 2:25 p.m. Wednesday – Jacob Lewis Larkin, 25, of 507 N. Dolan Drive, Syracuse, arrested for possession of meth and failure to appear. Bond: $10,500.

• 5:03 p.m. Wednesday – Shawn Anthony Gentry, 36, of 2136 S. Julian Drive, Warsaw, arrested for auto theft. Bond: $5,250.

• 9:41 p.m. Wednesday – Christian Lee Slone, 18, of 3180 N. Stonebruner Road, #10, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle without a license. Bond: $500.

• 12:24 a.m. today – Frank Sterling Daniels, 32, homeless, arrested for failure to appear, possession of meth, possession of a narcotic and criminal recklessness. Bond: $31,000.

• 5:50 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of CR 150W and Executive Drive, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Amy Dawson, 45, CR 300N, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 7:24 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Ind. 19 and CR 250N, Etna Green. Car hit deer. Driver: David Doss, 34, Rochester. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated. 

• 7:33 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Ind. 19 and CR 250N, Etna Green. Car hit deer. Driver: Joshua Wielocjowski, 28, Tippecanoe. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 11:54 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of CRs 800W and 200S, Mentone. Car, registered to Austin Grindle, found in pond. Driver fled scene. Damage: $10,000 to  $25,000. KCSD.

• 12:32 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Anchorage Road and Meijer Drive, Warsaw.  Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Clarissa Walther, 20, CR 400E, Claypool; Molly Brzinski, 20, EMS B25A Lane, Pierceton. Damage: $2,500 to $5.000. WPD.

• 3:12 p.m Wednesday – Intersection of CRs 1000S and 1000W, Akron. Two-vehicle collision: Drivers: Hayden Smith, 18, CR 225S, Akron; Thomas Stephens, 75, CR 750W, Claypool. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. KCSD.

• 4:05 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of North Parker Street and Walter Way, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Nadiya Burritt, 20, Jean Street, Winona Lake; Kyle Jarrett, 33, North Parker Street, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000.  WPD.

• 6:02 p.m. Wednesday – A person reported counterfeit money being passed in the 300 block of Detroit Street. WPD.
