NORTH MANCHESTER — Martha L. Yohe, 92, North Manchester, died at 7 a.m. Nov. 8, 2017, in Timbercrest Senior Living Community, North Manchester.

She was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Onward, to the Rev. Walter and Merle Spitler Stinebaugh. She married R. Lowell Yohe on June 8, 1947. He passed away Jan. 28, 2014.

She taught one year at Pitsburg, Ohio; five years at Jefferson Center, Whitley County; fifth grade at South Whitley Elementary for five years; Thorncreek in Whitley County for four years; and elementary music at Wabash 1969-1970. She was a member of Indiana State Teachers Association and the Retired Teachers Association.

She was a member of Manchester Church of the Brethren, North Manchester.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Yohe, South Whitley, and Pat Yohe, Ottawa, Ohio; a daughter, Rebecca (Bill Shank) Brock, Fort Wayne; a brother, Vernon Stinebaugh, York, Pa.; a sister, Mary Etta Holsopple, Goshen; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Her parents and one brother, Galen Stinebaugh, are deceased.

A memorial service is planned for 4 p.m. Nov. 18 at Timbercrest Chapel, 2201 East Street, North Manchester. Pastor Karen Eberly will officiate.

The family will receive friends after the service.
