Gene and Sue Swank, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill Swank, Newark, Del., to Dan Warner of Newark. He is the son of Dave and Char Warner, West Lafayette.

Jill graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2008 and from Indiana University Blooming-ton in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She is a staff scientist at QPS?LLC, Newark.

Dan graduated from West Lafayette High School in 2008, earned a Bachelor of Science in environmental science from IU in 2012 and a  Master of Arts in environmental science in 2013. He is a Ph.D. candidate in environmental science at the University of Delaware, Newark, planning to graduate in spring 2018.

The couple are planning their wedding for Dec. 2, 2017.
