On Oct. 7, 1918, in North Judson, she was born to Edward and Nadine Carter Lane. She was united in marriage to Raymond Eugene Curtis on Oct. 28, 1939, in Goshen.
She worked for Heckman Bindery, North Manchester, retiring in 1988. She attended Warsaw Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her son, Bill Eugene (Barbara) Curtis, Winona Lake; and daughter, Sharon Lee (Stan) Cripe, North Manchester. She is furthered survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her husband, Raymond; her parents; sisters, Loraine Black and Ruth Troft; and brothers: Robert,
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, with Chaplain Bob Jarboe officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service, and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
