The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 1:32 a.m. Tuesday – Carlos Genod Austin, 34, of 503 Center St., Warsaw, arrested for intimidation with a deadly weapon, strangulation and domestic battery with mild bodily injury. Bond: $10,250.

• 1:04 p.m. Tuesday – Jessie Brent Haradon, 35, Kimmel, arrested for intimidation, a felony. Bond: $5,250.

• 1:20 p.m. Tuesday – Amanda Lynette Dahman, 30, Kimmel, arrested for intimidation, a felony. Bond: $5,250.

• 2:24 p.m. Tuesday – Charles Clayton Ewing Jr., 47, of 1908 N. Brook Blvd., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $1,000.

• 4:32 p.m. Tuesday – Mandy Marie Schultz, 37, of 409 W. Winona Ave., Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $464.

• 5:15 p.m. Tuesday – David B. Henson, 47, Fort Wayne, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.

• 10:37 p.m. Tuesday – Henry Ray Kidd, 23, of 501 E. CR 1300N, Milford, arrested for theft with a prior. Bond: $2,750.

Accidents

• 5:40 a.m. Tuesday – East Prairie Street, west of South Detroit Street, Warsaw. Vehicle hit deer and then side-swiped a utility pole. Driver: Bernard L. Manns, 50, Silver Lake. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 10:02 a.m. Tuesday – North CR 300E, south of East CR 750W, east of Leesburg. Car drove off side of the road, hit a utility pole and then struck a speed limit sign. Driver: Brandy Fisher, 44, EMS T34, Leesburg. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. KCSD.

• 6:57 p.m. Tuesday – 850 N. Harrison St., Warsaw. Motorist backed out of parking space and hit a parked vehicle registered to Melissa L. McDonald, Sharon Street, Winona Lake. Driver: Zachary R. Kerr, 29, Pearson Boulevard, Silver Lake. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. KCSD.

• 7:31 p.m. Tuesday – Ind. 13, south of East CR 300N, near North Webster. Car hit deer. Driver: F.H. Halderman, 51, Wabash. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. KCSD.

• 12:24 a.m. today – Ind. 25, west of South Hand Avenue, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Jordan M. McClone, 18, Robin Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 12:32 a.m. Tuesday – Police responded to a report of domestic battery in the 500 block of West Center Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 5:55 a.m. Tuesday – Criminal mischief was reported in the 300 block of East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Tires on five vehicles were damaged. Damage: $875. KCSD.

• 11:07 a.m. Tuesday – A complaint of trespassing and drug use was called into police about a property in the 4600 block of East Wooster Road, Pierceton. Suspects fled, but were apprehended. KCSD.

• 11:50 p.m. Tuesday – Theft of medicine was reported in the 3600 block of West CR 1300S, Silver Lake. KCSD.

• 3:08 p.m. Tuesday – Police responded to a report of an animal bite. WPD.
