Russian Collusion

There was Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential election. The Clintons financially benefited from their dealings with the Russians and the Democrats paid the Russians for lies that prompted an investigation into Trump colluding with the Russians. If someone tells me Trump colluded with the Russians I'll have to ask them if they still believe in Santa and the Easter bunny, too.

The left used to love Russia and its leaders. Ted Kennedy wanted the Soviets to help the left defeat President Reagan. But since Russian collusion didn't defeat Trump, the left now considers Russians as our enemies. Are there two Russias  –  the one that helps the left and the other one that opposes the left? Is the Russian bear a cuddly pet as long as it isn't ripping its victim apart?

I would love to visit Russia someday. I sent hours of my music I composed to a conservatory in Moscow years ago. I also dreamed about walking the snowy streets of Saint Petersburg, Russia. I would be there if they were performing my music like my future opera "Peter and the Wolf" and hours of other music I have composed. You could say I want to collude with the Russians for financial gain.

I've heard so many bad things about Russia like government oppression, organized crime, bad food and terrible cars. But I'd love to visit the museums, concert halls where great music is performed, and churches; some that are fundamental Christian places of worship. I might have to worry about Islamic terrorism since the Russians have been fighting Muslims for centuries. Then again, the Russians were conquering their lands and slaughtering their people.

Someone from a former republic of the Soviet Union killed eight people in New York City and Sen. Chuck Schumer doesn't want to admit he is partly responsible for him being here. I also blame political correctness. Good Russians might have prevented the carnage if it had been attempted in Moscow. Remember, the Russians warned us about the Sanaroff brothers, but we let them kill people in Boston.

The Russian government invested millions in Hillary hoping that she would one day be president. Why hate the bear that might be in the woods when there is one already in the house?

Maybe we’ll get back some of the uranium we sold to Russia. I hope its not delivered by a warhead from North Korea.
