Warsaw Police Investigate Possible Burglary, Rape

Warsaw police are investigating a possible burglary and rape.

On Monday at about 7:30 p.m., a woman and her neighbor went to the Warsaw Police Department and reported her apartment on Clinic Court had been broken into and “she may have been raped,” according to information provided by the Warsaw Police Department.

Officers went to the scene where they were unable to locate the suspect.

Police secured the crime scene, and the woman was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.

Law enforcement has not released any other information in this case, which is still under investigation by WPD.
