Robert E. “Bob” Bunch

Robert E. “Bob” Bunch, 75, passed away at 9:08 p.m. Monday, May 29, 2017, in Parkview Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne.

Bob was born in Vincennes on March 23, 1942, to William and Zola Creamer Bunch. He was a 1960 graduate of Elwood High School. 

Vicki K. Niverson would become his bride April 16, 1960, in Lafayette. They would share almost 50 years together until her passing Dec. 16, 2009.

Living most of his life in Warsaw, Bob was employed for 40 years with Owen’s grocery store. He retired in 2011 as its produce manager.

He was a member of Warsaw Wesleyan Church. He liked old classic cars and enjoyed going to the old classic car shows. He also enjoyed gardening.

Family members left with memories to treasure are his three daughters and their husbands: Natalie and Chris Gutkowski, Chesterton; Lisa and Max Elder, Pierceton; and Cheryle and Bruce Stouder, Warsaw; and a son, Richard Bunch, Leesburg; and eight grandchildren: Sara, Max, Landon, Jordan, Chase, Connor, Olivia and Derek. Also surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Fran Bunch, Springfield, Mo., and John and Linda Bunch, Chesterton.

In addition to his wife, Vicki, he was preceded in passing by a son, Bobby Bunch, Oct. 20, 2000; and his sister, Becky Belle Bostic, March 19, 1976. 

The family will receive guests for a time of sharing from  6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 1, at Titus Funeral Home. 

A celebration of Bob’s life will take place Friday morning beginning at 10:30 at the funeral home. Pastor Dennis Bollenbacher of New Beginnings Community Church, Atwood, will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
