 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.

• 11: 59 a.m. Tuesday – Jon Kent Lemler, 44, Goshen, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $168.

• noon Tuesday – Edgar Medellin Sanchez, 21, of 340 E. Levi Lee Road, #206, Warsaw, arrested for sexual misconduct with a minor. Bond: $30,250.

• 12:29 p.m. Tuesday – Andrew Craig Sawyer, 28, Elkhart, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set. 

• 2:40 p.m. Tuesday – Tracey Lynn Gagnon, 47, of 5658 W. Kingfisher Drive, Mentone, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.

• 2:42 p.m. Tuesday – Michael Anthony Reynolds, 42, of 11421 N. Nash Drive, Syracuse, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $6,000.

• 2:58 p.m. Tuesday – Robert Lee Pickens, 40, of 5505 W. CR 100S, Warsaw, arrested for dealing meth. No bond set. 

• 3:26 p.m. Tuesday – Caroline Nicole Jackson, 35, Anderson, arrested for failure to appear.  Bond: $183.50.

• 3:57 p.m. Tuesday – Victor Gaspar Soveranis, 31, of 1692 E. CR 200N, #68, Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated with a prior. No bond set. 

• 4:04 p.m. Tuesday – Jessica Marie Sutt, 26, Bluffton, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set. 

• 4:16 p.m. Tuesday – Carrisa Renee Spore, 35, of 1408 N. Long Drive, Syracuse, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $233.60.

• 5:45 p.m. Tuesday – Kila Korie Dalton, 21, Fort Wayne, arrested for identity deception and false informing. Bond: $5,250. 

• 6:04 p.m. Tuesday – Jason Michael Thorn, 32, of 208 E. Lynwood Drive, Syracuse, arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.

• 1:04 a.m. today – Jeffery Robert Young, 49, of 9801 Lincoln St., Syracuse, arrested for battery and on two counts of failure to appear. Bond: $600.



Personal Injury Accidents

• 9:43 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of West Winona Avenue and Austin Drive, Warsaw.  Single motorcycle crash. Driver: Ryan Sparks, 30, East Sycamore Street, Silver Lake. Injury: Gavin Hench, 8, East Sycamore Street, Silver Lake, a passenger on Sparks’ motorcycle, was transported to the hospital with minor bleeding on his leg. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. Warsaw Police Department investigated. 

• 1:48 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of North Detroit and East Main streets, Warsaw. Van-mo-ped collision. Drivers: Donna Stengel, 67, Millersburg; Terry Korb, 57, Springfield Drive, Warsaw. Injury: Korb was transported to Luthern Hospital with minor bleeding to his head. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.

• 4:08 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of West Lake and North Warren streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Blake Adkins, 29, North Park-Schram Road, Warsaw; James Breading, 77, Kincaide Street, Warsaw. Injury: Adkins complained of pain to his chest. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. WPD.



Property Damage Accidents

• 10:28 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of South Main Street and East Westerbrook Drive, North Webster. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Bianca Rocha, 20, Pixie Parkway, Cromwell; Jo Eccles, 68, North Main Street, North Webster. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. North Webster Police Department investigated. 

• 3:05 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of South Buffalo and East Prairie streets, Warsaw.  Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Nicholas Helsel, 25, Bremen; Alejandria Rodriguez, 17, Vicky Lane, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.

• 3:20 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of North Detroit Streets and CR 350N, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Jonathan Schaetzle, 28, Hunnicutt Drive, Syracuse; Kristina Day, 33, CR 900N, Milford. Damage: $1,000 o $2,500. WPD. 



Incidents 

• 7:43 a.m. Tuesday – A person reported a break-in and theft of coins from the Hometown Laundry in the 100 block of North Higbee Street, Milford. Milford Police Department investigated.

• 12:38 p.m. Tuesday – A break-in was reported to a storage shed owned by Hometown Laundry in the 100 block of North Higbee Street, Milford. MPD.

• 3:18 p.m. Tuesday – Police responded to a person making suicidal statements in the 700 block of North Colfax Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 11:59 p.m. Tuesday – Police say a man stabbed himself and reported it as a robbery in the 3300 block of Lake City Highway, Warsaw. WPD.
