 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 5:21 a.m. Friday – Sterling Ray Templeton, 36, of 4839 N. CR 700E, Leesburg, arrested for driving while suspended/ prior, resisting law enforcement/use vehicle and possession of a narcotic. Bond: $5,250.

• 11:47 a.m. Friday – Derek Ian McQueen, 38, South Bend, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $158.

• 11:57 a.m. Friday – James Lee Koser, 22, of 501 Oldfather St., Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery. Bond: $1,000.

• 3:05 p.m. Friday – Jonathan Laurence Harness, 26, of 935 Pine Mills Road, Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $183.50.

• 4:59 p.m. Friday – Erik Michael Jarvis, 30, of 303B N. Columbia St., Warsaw, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. No bond set.

• 5:26 p.m. Friday – Glenn Dale Helser, 74, Hamilton, Texas, arrested for battery. Bond: $600.

• 5:30 p.m. Friday – Willberg Javier Rodriguez, 28, of 572 Baker St., Cromwell, arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. No bond set.

• 6 p.m. Friday – Joseph Edward Hendrix, 56, of 272 E. Nelson Drive, Milford, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.

• 6:09 p.m. Friday – Jodi Ann Pruitt, 47, of 404 N. High St., Silver Lake, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.

• 6:25 p.m. Friday – Roger William Reed, 61, of 301 E. Lynwood Drive, Syracuse, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.

• 6:55 p.m. Friday – Brandon Lewis Jones, 26, Columbia City, arrested for probation violation. No bond set.

• 10:10 a.m. Thursday – 300 block of South Detroit Street, Warsaw. Car hit pole. Driver: Scott Coverstone, 54, North Prairie Street, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500-$5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 3:44 p.m. Thursday – East Chicago Street at West Chicago Street, Syracuse. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Laurabelle Druckamiller, 83, Colin Road, Syracuse; Dale J. Berger, 17, North Lake Street, Syracuse. Damage: $1,000-$2,500. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

• 12:15 a.m. Thursday – A driver stopped for a traffic infraction in the 600 block of North Main Street, North Webster, was determined to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. North Webster Police Department investigated.

• 12:24 a.m. Thursday – Drug abuse violations were reported in the 1200 block of Wooster Road, Winona Lake. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.

• 12:50 a.m. Thursday – Staff of the Kosciusko County Jail, West Main Street, Warsaw, found narcotics on a person returned to the jail for violations of a drug test. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 6:30 p.m. Thursday – The theft of a purse and cash from a vehicle in the Kmart parking lot, Lake City Highway, was reported. WPD.

• 7:27 p.m. Thursday – A woman was stopped in the 3300 block of East CR 700S, Claypool, and found with meth and a narcotic. WLPD.
