 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.

• 8:30 a.m. Wednesday – Nathalie Marie Ortiz, 20, Plymouth, arrested for operating a vehicle without a license. Bond: $500.

• 11:14 a.m. Wednesday – Sierra Rae Jackson, 18, Fort Wayne, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $400.

• 11:16 a.m. Wednesday – Jennifer Scott, 46, of 2441 W. CR 250S, #30, Warsaw, arrested for auto theft. Bond: $11,000.

• 1:37 p.m. Wednesday – Jasmin Lynn Warren, 30, of 519 Harbour Landing Drive, Syracuse, arrested on a civil warrant. Bond: $1,000.

• 2:03 p.m. Wednesday – Justin Michael Dent, 31, Turkey Creek Road, #9, Syracuse, arrested for driving while classified as a habitual traffic violator. Bond: $10,250.

• 2:42 p,m. Wednesday – Mercedes Lynn Miller, 23, of 4442 W. CR 200S, Warsaw, arrested for forgery. Bond: $2,500. 

• 3:01 p.m. Wednesday – James Matthew Sizemore, 37, of 3288 Doe St., Warsaw, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.

• 3:04 p.m. Wednesday – Nicole Marie Blair, 38, of 10208 S. Roosevelt St., Silver Lake, arrested for fraud. Bond: $5,250.

• 4:03 p.m. Wednesday – Shanda Myers, 33, of 1827 Husky Trail, Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $450.

• 7 p.m. Wednesday – Stevie Quirkie Bolcevic, 30, Jefferson, Ohio, arrested for theft. Bond: $5,250.

• 11:38 p.m. Wednesday – Sarah Elizabeth Harmon, 20, New Albany, arrested to failure to appear. Bond: $283.



Property Damage Accidents

• 3:32 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of U.S. 30 and North Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Qureshi Shahed, 23, Hammond. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated. 

• 8:03 a.m. Wednesday – 3380 Old Colony Road, Warsaw. Hit-skip on parked vehicle. Registration information unlisted. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

• 12:02 p.m. Wednesday – 2421 E. Center St., Warsaw. Drivers: Chelisi Trumble, 26, CR 250W, Warsaw; Annalisa Price, 34, Lake Tahoe Trail, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD. 

• 3:03 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of North Detroit Street and Anchorage Road, Warsaw. Three-vehicle collision. Driver No.1 fled the scene. Drivers remaining: Robert Vores, 65, CR 200W, Claypool; Glenn Shimasaki, 72, CR 300N, Warsaw. Damage: $750 to $1,000. WPD.

• 3:53 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of North Detroit Street and Plaza Drive, Warsaw. Two-vehicle-collision. Drivers: Joshua Burkholder-Gerberin, 31, Old 30, Warsaw; Anita Kishan, 61, Glee Miner Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

• 7:37 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Epworth Forest Road and Ind. 13, North Webster. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Charles Sterk, 81, CR 100S, Claypool; Andrew Sheeley, 26, Ind. 5, Cromwell. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.

• 12:30 a.m. today – Intersection of East Center and North Tamarack streets, Warsaw. Car hit deer. Driver: Christian Centeno, 19, Columbia Street, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD.

• 8:53 p.m. Wednesday – A person reported vandalism to a car in the 8800 block of CR 225N, Etna Green. KCSD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
