NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON DESIGNATING AND

DECLARING CERTAIN AREAS AS REDEVELOPMENT AREAS TO

AMEND THE  BOUNDARIES OF THE  WARSAW  CENTRAL DEVELOPMENT AREA AND ITS ALLOCATION AREA

    Notice is hereby given that the City of Warsaw, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission") approved and adopted a resolution (the "Resolution")  on May 1, 2017, which Resolution designates and declares certain areas within the City of Warsaw, Indiana (the "City") to be redevelopment areas and allocation areas for purposes of tax increment financing (collectively, the "Expansion Areas") to expand the existing Warsaw Central Development Area (the "Area") and approving of amendments to the Redevelopment Plan for the Area (the "Plan") to include the Expansion Areas in the Plan.

    Notice is further given that maps and plats of the Expansion Areas have been prepared and can be inspected at the office of the City Planner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580.

    Notice is further given that the Commission will conduct a public hearing on Monday, June 5, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. (local time), in the City Hall- Council Chambers, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580 at which time the Commission will hear all persons interested in the proceedings and consider the objections of any person who has filed a written remonstrance to the proposed amendments within the filing period and will consider taking final action on a confirming resolution designating and declaring the Expansion Areas to expand the existing Area and approving that the Plan be amended to include the Expansion Areas. The Commission may determine to amend the Resolution to include certain additional territory within the Area as referenced in the approving resolutions of the Plan Commission and the Common Council. Such additional territory is included within the description of the  Expansion Areas on file in the office of the City Planner as described above.   Written remonstrances to the Resolution and the actions provided for therein must be filed with the Commission at the office of the City Planner, 102 S. Buffalo Street, Warsaw, Indiana, 46580 by 2:00 p.m.  (local time) on Monday, June 5, 2017.
