Syracuse Man Hurt In Crash That Killed Garrett Man

Alan Wroblewski, 47, Garrett, was killed in the accident.
Anthony Crance, 25, Syracuse, was driving east on U.S. 6 in his pickup when he drifted left of the center line and into the opposite lane, according to a report from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.
Wroblewski, heading west, attempted to swerve to avoid the collision, but Crance swerved back toward the eastbound lane of traffic and the two vehicles struck head on.
Wroblewski died at the scene.
Crance was flown to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne with head injuries. His condition was unvailable at press time. Two unnamed juveniles in Crance’s vehicle were not injured but transported to Parkview Warsaw as a precautionary measure.
