County Jail Booking

 The following person was preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.

• 11:20 a.m. Friday – Reese Matthew McDonald, 19, Wabash, arrested for illegal possession of alcohol. Bond: $400.



Incidents

• 2:53 p.m. Thursday – Report of theft of a package valued at $200 in the 2600 block of East Oak Lane, Warsaw. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 3:56 a.m. Friday – Report of a burglary in the 200 block of East Main Street in Syracuse. Syracuse Police Department investigated.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
