Memorial Services Set May 29

The color guard, firing squad and other organizational units will form in front of the sexton’s office and begin marching to the ampitheater at 10:55 a.m.
The program will take place at the cemetery band stand. Music will be provided by the Kosciusko County Extension Choir, with the post of colors by the combined color guards. After the pledge, Post 49 Commander Ray Bledsoe will give the welcome. Post 49 Chaplain the Rev. Roy C. Blake will give the invocation.
Ken Locke will give the memorial address, followed by the roll call of deceased veterans by Post 49 Adjutant Mike Davis and Post 1126 Commander Kenneth Archer.
Blake will give the benediction, and the combined color guards will retire the colors.
After the colors have been retired, the program will proceed to the Gar Circle and Legion Circle No. 2 where a presentation of a wreath will be placed on Legion Circle No. 2 by Bledsoe and Auxiliary President Josie Ryan. Taps will follow the presentation.
The program will then be concluded at Legion Circles Nos. 1 and 3 where wreath presentations will take place at both circles with taps to follow.
Carry-in dinner at Post 49 will follow the program, with the Post to furnish the meats.
