Whitko Names Top Students

SOUTH WHITLEY – Whitko High School recently announced its valedictorian and salutatorian.

The valedictorian is Emma Christyne Neeley, the daughter of Christopher and Robin Neeley, South Whitley.

She intends to attend Franklin College and double major in pre-med biology and exercise science.

She participated in National Honor Society, Fine Arts Academic Team, SADD, softball, volleyball, Youth for Christ, theater, Whitko Gospel Choir, church and youth group and fundraising.

The salutatorian is Morgan Ashley Keirn, the daughter of Shannon and Claudia Keirn, Claypool.

She plans to attend Purdue University to study pre-veterinary medicine.

She was the  National Honor Society president. She also participated in tennis, FFA, Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy, Art Club, 4-H Horse and Pony Club, horse judging, Indiana Haflinger Horse Association and United States Tennis Association Team Tennis.
