She was born Feb. 5, 1934, in Sidney, to Dale L. and Mary Elizabeth Gray Parker. She married William “Bill” Iholtz on Dec. 31, 1953. He passed away on April 24, 2011.
She was a homemaker.
She was an active member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester, being involved in the funeral dinner ministry, as well as helping to prepare the community breakfast. She was also a deaconess at the church.
She was a kind, sweet woman who really cared for other people. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include a son, Michael William (Susan) Iholtz, Bippus; two daughters, Gloria Jean (Gene) Gottschalk, South Whitley, and Barbara Ann (Frank) Edwards, Wabash; a brother, Roger Lee Parker, Roann; two sisters, Jean Klutz, North Manchester and Linda Mae Parker, both of North Manchester; and five grandchildren.
A grandchild preceded her in death.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 18, with calling one hour prior, at Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut St., North Manchester. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate. Burial will be in Swank Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester.
