Wednesday Night Bridge Group
The group had five tables May 10, with the following winners: Tom Anderson, Joyce Latta, John Wagley, Kathy Clary, Bob Mayer and Judy Stewart.
Janet and John Wagley are hostess and host for May.
Four Seasons Ladies Bridge
The group met May 10 at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, Warsaw.
Winners were Dorothy Sweeny, Erma Swank and Helen Miller, who was also the hostess.
American Assn. Of University Women
The Warsaw Branch of The American Association of University Women will meet at 9 a.m. May 20 at Bella Vitale Resturant. This meeting is to install new officiers and induct new members.
There will be a brief business meeting, and a report on the garage sale held recently to raise funds for scholarships. The hostess for the meeting is Mary Eherenman.
This is the final meeting before the summer recess, so members are encouraged to attend.
Kosciusko County Retired Teachers Assn.
Kosciusko County Retired Teachers Association met May 9 at Miller’s Senior Living Center, Warsaw. Co-President Deb Satterly welcomed the membership and three new attendees: Ethel Anderson, Sue Mock and Annette Mock.
Terry White, author of “Winona at 100,” presented the program. “Bibles, Booze and Billys” capsulated the history of the Winona community through stories and photos.
Lunch was followed by the business meeting and concluded with door prizes being won by Ethel Anderson, Grace Lovelady and Betty Sanders.
Historical Society Genealogy Group
The Kosciusko County Historical Society Genealogy Group will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Old Jail Museum, 121 N. Indiana, Warsaw.
The program will be “Preservation of old papers, books, photos, artifacts and family treasures.”

Singles Meeting Friends
Dave returned to play cards with the group at its meeting Wednesday.
There was lots of discussion about a lot of things.
Mary is in the hospital and seems to be doing well.
Members are looking forward to summer music in the park.
The group had game night Friday. Game night is the second Friday of every month.
Singles Meeting Friends meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the upstairs dining room of Martin’s Super Market.

The group met May 11 with three tables playing. June Stealy was hostess.
Winners were Sharon Tuttle, Mary Eherenman and Elaine Tripp.
North Webster Community Center SPEC
NORTH WEBSTER — The Senior Primelife Enrichment Center announces bridge results for the past week.
May 9, winners were Barb Kieper, first, and Mike Wyrick, second.
May 11, winners were Andrea Overmyer, first, and Jan Hodson, second.
Pierceton Senior Citizens Club
PIERCETON — Members of the Pierceton Senior Citizens Club gathered April 17 at the Center for their first meeting of 2017.
Johnny and Pauline, who celebrated April birthdays, led everyone to dinner after Jean offered the blessing.
Peggy Owen entertained during and after dinner with piano selections, including "Ain't She Sweet," "Love You Just The Way You Are," "Somewhere Over The Rainbow," "You Are My Sunshine" and "He's Got The Whole World In His Hands." She also played tunes that we were challenged to name. She closed with "God bless America," with everyone joining in.
Before beginning the meeting, members and guests stood for the Pledge of Allegiance. Rex was welcomed as a new member. Two members, Leonard and Alice, who reside in assisted living, were visited by members over the winter.
Special thanks were given to Paragon for its $250 donation.
The group’s next meeting will be Monday. The carry-in dinner with meat provided by the club will begin at 6 p.m. All seniors are invited.
In addition, meals are available each day at the Center. Make a reservation by calling 574-594-5632.
Winona Literary Club
The Winona Literary Club met for its spring luncheon May 10.
Music preceding and during the luncheon was provided by a trio of ladies playing two flutes and a cello. They played a variety of music celebrating Indiana's bicentennial year. Lunch was enjoyed by the members and three guests.
Martha South described the mission trip to Spain she and her husband went on to help and encourage missionaries there.
A short business meeting closed the club for the summer.
