Kosciusko County officials hope to put a new shine on floors in its two biggest buildings this summer. The county commissioners approved plans recently to spend about $11,000 to hire a Fort Wayne company to strip away several layers of wax and apply a new finish. The work, by Summit City Building Maintenance, will include all three floors of the courthouse and both floors of the Justice Building. Pictured to the right is a test area that shows how much brighter the granite tile will be after the work.
