Baseball Sectional Pairings Released

Warsaw opens play around 7:30 p.m. May 25 in the 4A Elkhart Memorial Sectional in the tournament’s third game against Elkhart Central. The winner would play the winner between Memorial and Northridge in the semifinals on May 27. The title game is set for 11 a.m. Memorial Day, May 29.
In the 3A NorthWood Sectional, Tippecanoe Valley will open the tournament against West Noble at 5 p.m. May 24. The winner faces either Lakeland or Fairfield in the semifinals at 11 a.m. May 27.
Wawasee and host NorthWood have first-round byes and will face off in the second semifinal May 27. The title game will be played at 11 a.m. May 29.
Manchester will take on Cass in the second game of the 2A Wabash Sectional, with the winner facing off against the Oak Hill/ Wabash winner in the semifinals.
Whitko and Rochester, a pair of Three Rivers Conference teams, drew first-round byes and will play one another in the semifinals. Game dates and times for the Wabash Sectional were not available as of press time.
Triton plays in the 1A Fort Wayne Blackhawk Sectional, and opens play against the Hamilton Marines of the Northeast Corner Conference. The winner will face either Fremont of Bethany Christian in the semifinals.
On the other side of the bracket, Lakewood Park and Blackhawk play in the first game of the tournament, with the winner getting a semifinal matchup with Elkhart Christian. Dates and times for the tournament have not yet been set.
