He was born Aug. 16, 1935, in Kleve, Germany, to Heinrich and Margaret Kohl.
He worked as a butcher, a truck driver and as a chauffer for Jim Irsay.
Survivors include a son, Henry (Marilyn) Kohl, Syracuse.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw. Private family services are planned.
Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
