 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.

• 12:09 a.m. Wednesday – Christy Ann Singrey, 56, of 1719 Betsy Court, Warsaw, arrested for theft. Bond: $600. 

• 1:45 a.m. Wednesday – Sanjuana Gomez, 49, of 2441 W. CR 250S, #57, Warsaw, arrested for driving without a license and false informing. Bond: $600. 

• 6:03 p.m. Wednesday – Barry Alan Coy, 59, Hastings, Mich., arrested for probation violation. Bond: $10,000.

• 7:31 p.m. Wednesday – James Eugene Lisenbee, 37, of 2441 W. CR 250S, #5, Warsaw, arrested for possession of marijuana. Bond: $600. 

• 9:34 p.m. Wednesday – Dale Birch Stephens, 28, Salyersville, Ky., arrested for failure to appear. No bond set.  

• 11:02 p.m. Wednesday – Ethan David Jessie, 27, of 4547 E. Fox Run Drive, Syracuse, arrested on three counts of failure to appear, resisting arrest by fleeing. Bond: $6,250.

• 12:37 p.m. Wednesday – Riley Jay Myers, 20, Wabash, arrested for possession of paraphernalia. Bond: $400.

• 11:45 p.m. Wednesday – Dean Andrew Music, 27, Wabash,  arrested for driving while suspended. Bond: $450. 

• 11:49 p.m. Wednesday – Sage Allen Powell, 29, of 1001 N. Harrison St., Syracuse, arrested for trafficking drug/weapons/cell to an inmate, possession of meth and driving while suspended. Bond: $10,250.

• 11:56 p.m. Wednesday – Nathaniel Lee Hall, 38, of 2441W. CR 250, #150, Warsaw, arrested for possession of syringe for a legend drug. Bond; $5,250.

• 6:07 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Ind. 15 and CR 200S, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Travis Shepler, 47, CR 700W, Nappanee; Ryan Sparks, 30, Shagbark Drive, Warsaw. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 7:42 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of East Market and South High streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collison. Drivers: Ronie Rom, 18, Levi Lee Road, Warsaw; Brenda Smith, 53, Ind. 25, Warsaw. Damage $2,500 to $5,000. WPD. 

• 9:57 a.m. Wednesday – Intersection of North Detroit and East Main streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Todd Wallis, 55, Walnut Street, Pierceton Gina Garza, 52, East Clark Street, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD. 

• 12:30 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Ind.15 and Turkey Creek Drive, Milford. Vehicle hit guardrail. Driver: Jack Friedman, 64, Elkhart. Damage: $10,000 to $25,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.

• 3:46 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of North Detroit and Lyon streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Elida Fullmer, 29, East Smith Street; Victoria Smallegan, 26, DeMotte. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

• 4:05 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of Lake City Highway and North Parker Street, Warsaw.  Drivers: Ceasar Hernandez, 22, Elkhart; William Woodcock, 58, Mooers, N.Y. Damage: $10,000 to $25,000. WPD.

• 4:50 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of North Detroit and East Center streets, Warsaw. Drivers: Harmony Schlabach, 17,  Bowser Road, Syracuse; Rebekkah Smith, 18, CR 250S, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,500. WPD. 

• 11:05 p.m. Wednesday – Intersection of CR 250S and Ind. 25, Warsaw. Car went into a ditch and struck trees. Driver: Nathaniel Hall, 38, CR 250S, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD. 



Incidents 

• 10:22 a.m. Wednesday – A man was arrested after fleeing law enforcement in the 300 block of East Main Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 11:05 p.m. Wednesday – Police responded to a welfare check in the 9000 block of South Smalley  Lane, Claypool. KCSD.

• 11:59 p.m. Wednesday – Police investigated an incident involving a juvenile. WPD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
