NORTH WEBSTER — Lewis Grant "Bud" Neibert, 81, Leesburg, passed away at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Mason Health & Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw. 

He was born on July 7, 1935, in Leesburg, to Riley E. and Jennie Estep Neibert. 

He was a lifetime Leesburg/North Webster area resident, graduated from North Webster High School in 1953 and then from Manchester College, North Manchester, with his Bachelor of Science degree. 

He was married on Jan. 21, 1956, in Oswego, to Janice S. “Sue” Godshalk, who survives. 

He retired in 1998 from Parker Hanafin (formerly Syracuse Rubber Co.), Syracuse, and had previously worked at Phelps Dodge Magnet Wire, Fort Wayne.  

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Oswego. 

He is survived by his wife, Sue Neibert, Leesburg; a daughter, Lisa Sand, Leesburg; three sons: Rob (Patricia) Neibert, Brian “Barney” Neibert and Craig Neibert, all of Leesburg; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruth (Cliff) Rider,  Leesburg, and Margaret (Nelson) Worden, Louisville, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandsons, Brian Ray Neibert Jr. and Jarred Lee Neibert; four sisters: Maxine Zience, Harriet White, Betty Froyd and Lois Kendall; and three brothers: Maurice, Riley Jr. and Loren Neibert. 

Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at First Baptist Church of Oswego, 2985 E. Church St., Warsaw. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Saturday in the church, with Dr.  Ron Manahan officiating. 

Burial will take place in Oswego Cemetery. 

Owen Family Funeral Home, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
