Judith Ann Whitaker, Warsaw, passed away at her residence at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the age of 78. 

She was born on June 4, 1938, in Indianapolis, to Karl E. Miller and Trudis M. Thompson Miller.  

Judith was a 1956 graduate of Silver Lake High School.  She moved to the area in 1959 and worked at Da-Lite Screen, Warsaw, for 20 years. 

She was an avid Cubs fan and loved Notre Dame. She enjoyed traveling, camping, flowers, and loved Cedar Point. Most of all, she especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Barb (husband John) Owens, Warsaw; son: Charlie (wife Heather) Whitaker, Warsaw; three grandchildren: Julie Owens (Brian Hagan), Winona Lake; Matthew Owens (Elyssa Saunders), Huntington; and Mitchell Whitaker, Warsaw; two step-grandchildren: Aiden and Jordan Foreman, both of Warsaw; and three great-grandchildren: Cayden Goon and Anna and Lola Hagan. Also surviving are her lifelong friend, Marcia Shriver, Warsaw; and her brother, Steve Miller, San Bernadino, Calif. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Her funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., officiated by Pastor Jamy Gregory. 

Burial will follow with a graveside service at Lake View Cemetery, Silver Lake.
