SILVER LAKE - SEDIMENT REMOVAL PLAN

Notice is hereby given that sealed bid proposals will be received by the Town of Silver Lake in the County of Kosciusko, Indiana for:
(1) Silver Lake Sediment Removal
The scope of work will consist of the removal of sediment at 3 (three) locations on Silver Lake in accordance with specifications referenced in the Silver Lake sediment removal plan that was approved by IDNR. The bids are requested for the furnishing of all labor and material, tools, equipment and incidental items required for the satisfactory completion of the project.
All bids shall be submitted on State Form 52414 (Form 96) “Contractor’s Bid for Public Works” an approved form following the Public Works Law in accordance with IC 36-1-12. Each bid cost of $200,000.00 or greater must be accompanied by a bid bond executed by a surety company or a certified check for no more than ten percent (10%) of the total contract price payable to the Town of Silver Lake. All checks/bonds of unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them by the board upon selection of the successful bidder.
Specifications and bid documents may be obtained for no charge at the office of the Silver Lake Clerk-Treasurer located 604 N. Jefferson St., Silver Lake, IN 46982 between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday and Friday 9:00 am-4:00 pm.
Sealed proposals clearly marked “Silver Lake Sediment Removal” will be received by the Town of Silver Lake Clerk-Treasurer on or before 5:00pm prevailing local time on June 7, 2017. Bids may be submitted in person or by mail to the address of P.O Box 159 Silver Lake, IN 46982. The Town of Silver Lake assumes no responsibility for the loss or the non-delivery of any bid sent. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on June 7, 2017 beginning at 7:00 pm.
The Silver Lake Town Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to delete any portion thereof, or waive informalities in the bidding process.
