 The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail.

• 6:37 a.m. Tuesday – Austin Lee Perkins, 32, of 7094 S. CR 100E, Claypool,  arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Bond: $700. 

• 8 a.m. Tuesday –  Anthony James Geib, 32, of 720 W. Center St., Warsaw, arrested for driving while suspended. Bond $450.

• 11:30 a.m. Tuesday – Robert Bradley Wade, 26, Huntington, arrested for driving while suspended. No bond set.

• 1:44 p.m. Tuesday – Angela Kayle Tjerngel, 36, of 2762 Old 30, Warsaw, arrested for probation violation. Bond: $3,000. 

• 2:53 p.m. Tuesday – Jason Keith Sheridan, 43, Greencastle, arrested for failure to pay. Bond: $283.50

• 5:47 p.m. Tuesday – Michael Rollins, 42, of 8280 E. US 30, #4, Pierceton, arrested for invasion of privacy. Bond: $1,500.

• 7:47 p.m. Tuesday – Rebecca Ranshell Hendrix, 27, of 7979 N. CR 600N, Etna Green, arrested for theft. Bond: $600.

• 12:17 p.m. Saturday – Intersection of Lake City Highway and North Parker Street, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Darcey Davis–Vilamaa, 39,  Shagbark Drive, Warsaw; Lloyd Graber, 67, CR 100W, South Whitley. Injury: Marsha Graber, 66, CR 100W, South Whitley, a passenger in Graber’s vehicle, complained of pain to her neck. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.

• 6:30 p.m. Monday – Intersection of East Armstrong Road and EMS T25 Lane, Leesburg. Man fell off motorcycle. Driver: Stephen Ledgerwood, 27, CR 600N, Leesburg. Injury: Ledgerwood complained of leg pain but refused medical treatment. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated. 

• 3:44 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of North Detroit and Main streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Andrea Rangel, 36, Rattington Circle, Warsaw; Christina Stetzel, 39, South Washington Street, Warsaw. Injury: Rangel complained of pain to her chest. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

• 8:14 a.m. Sunday – Intersection of CR 350N and North Detroit Street, Warsaw.  Vehicle hit utility pole. Driver: Alonzo Villarreal, 18, Hackelman Street, Warsaw, Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

• 5:19 a.m. Monday – Intersection of West Market and South Lake streets, Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Alison Ousley, 25, Wooster Road, Winona Lake; Norma Meza, 41, CR 200N, Warsaw. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. WPD.

• 7:48 a.m. Sunday – Lost property found near Central Park, Warsaw.  was turned into police. WPD.

• 12:50 p.m. Sunday – A man reported a theft of a watch  from his vehicle in the 10500 block of Grand Boulevard, Syracuse. KCSD. 

• 8:38 p.m. Sunday ­– Police investigated a robbery at Explorer Van in the 2700 block of Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. KCSD. 

 • 6:48 p.m. Monday – A person reported a theft in the 300 block of West Market Street, Warsaw. WPD.

• 8:03 p.m. Monday – A person reported criminal mischief in the 1500 block of CR 175E, Warsaw. WPD.

• 1:05 a.m. Tuesday – Police responded to a report of domestic battery in the 300 block of North Market Street, Burket. KCSD. 

• 1:04 p.m. Tuesday – A resident reported an auto theft in the 6500 block of East May Lane, Leesburg. KCSD.

• 6:35 p.m. Tuesday – Police responded to a report of a dog attacking chickens in the 3000 block of Ind. 14, Silver Lake.  KCSD.

Sheriff Addressed Issues In The Jail Since Taking Office
Once taking office I knew how important it was going to be to have the right leadership in every division of the office, and the jail was certainly no exception. Upon taking office, I appointed Lt. Kevin Gelbaugh as the jail commander and Chad Marsh as the assistant jail commander, and to say I am proud of all their work and accomplishments would be an understatement.
