‘Christ In The Passover’ Coming To Trinity  
A traditional Passover service will be recreated at 4 p.m. April 8 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
During "Christ in the Passover," Lisa Smolowitz of Jews for Jesus will explain how the traditional Passover service foreshadowed Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Smolowitz will set a table with items traditionally used at the Passover meal and detail their spiritual significance. She will also explain the connection between the events of the first Passover in Egypt and the redemption that Jesus accomplished, as well as the deep bond between the ancient Passover feast and the Christian communion celebration today.
Smolowitz will answer questions after the presentation.
Moishe Rosen, who founded Jews for Jesus in 1973, has written the book “Christ in the Passover” with his wife, Ceil. This work includes a look at Passover in ancient times and how it is practiced today. It will be available after the presentation, as will a DVD of the “Christ in the Passover” presentation with David Brickner, executive director of Jews for Jesus, officiating.

Easter Cantata April 9 At Clunette UMC
CLUNETTE — Clunette United Methodist Church will present an Easter cantata April 9.
“Amazing Love, How Can It Be” features a cast of seven characters who will tell how Jesus changed their lives. Choirs from Clunette, Leesburg and Aldersgate United Methodist churches are combining for the Palm Sunday service.
The service will begin at 7 p.m. Refreshments will follow.
The church is at 4227 N. CR 600W, Leesburg.

Revival At God’s Highway To Heaven
God's Highway to Heaven, 555 Webber St., Warsaw, is having a revival with evangelist Bill Summers beginning Friday.
Summers, from Indianapolis, will be at the church at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Pre-Easter Services Planned In Rochester
ROCHESTER — Community pre-Easter services are planned at Bethlehem Baptist Church beginning April 10.
The service schedule is:
• April 10, the Rev. Jason See; special music by Ed Rock and Sherri Secrist.
• April 11, Dr. Rodney Utter; special music by Mike Bowers.
• April 12, concert with church group “North East Hot Shots,” singing all types of church music.
April 13, the Rev. Rod Ruberg; special music by Kim Martin.
April 14, the Rev. Ronald Purkey; special music by Jim Saner.
All services begin at 7 p.m.

Surrendered In Concert At Riverview
TIPPECANOE — Surrendered, a trio from Gadsden, Ala., will give a gospel concert at 6 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Community Church.
Surrendered was formed in 2015 with Russell Wise, his  niece Sadie Renae and Joseph Reed. The group won the Atlanta Talent Search and was named Sunrise Trio of the Year by the Diamonds awards.
The trio has performed throughout the midwest. In addition to singing, each group member plays several instruments and is involved in writing songs. Their goal is to keep Jesus Christ the center of their music.
There is no charge to attend the concert; a love offering will be collected for the group.

Human Sex Trafficking Topic In Burket
BURKET — A Warsaw woman will speak on human sex trafficking at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Burket United Methodist Church.
Dawnna Plummer is an advocate for sex trafficking survivors in the United States. She is executive director and founder of Beloved: Not Forgotten, a nonprofit that runs a safe home for girls ages 11-17 who have been rescued from sex trafficking.
The church is at 102 S. Market St., Burket.
