NORTH WEBSTER — Kathryn Irene “Kay” Beezley, 89, North Webster, passed away at 1:12 a.m. March 19, 2017, at her daughter’s home. 
She was born Dec. 8, 1927, in Deer Creek, Ill., to Arthur C. and Minnie K. Dietrich Hunteman.
She graduated in 1946 from Minier (Ill.) Community High School. She grew up in Illinois and moved to the North Webster area in 1969 from Arizona. 
She retired over 30 years ago from Webster Wire in North Webster and formerly worked as a part-time waitress at several local restaurants. She was a member of the VFW in Syracuse and a former member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 253, North Webster.
She is survived by a daughter, Teresa (Edwin) Reeves, Leesburg; a son, the Rev. Joe (Sheila) Beezley, Warsaw; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Glassey, Bloomington-Normal, Ill.; and a brother, Louie (Gerry) Hunteman, Bloomington, Ill.
She was preceded by her parents; two brothers, Melvin Hunteman and Velde Hunteman; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. 
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Beezley officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery, Wilmot.
