Lakeland Christian Academy presented its winter sports awards this week. Winners were (front row, L-R) Breanna Creekmore, junior high cheer-leadership; Grace Hanes, junior high girls basketball-mental attitude; Genevieve Goldsmith, junior high cheer-positivity; and Angella Stichter, junior high girls basketball-most improved. In the second row are Avery Hobbs, junior high girls basketball-defensive player award; Liza Schmitt, junior high girls basketball-best hustle; Kiersten Parker, junior high girls basketball-offensive player award. Winners in the third row are Brooklyn Apted, junior high cheer-precision; Josh Jones, junior high boys basketball-coaches award; Lauren Starrett, junior varsity girls basketball-most improved; and Anna Reimink, varsity girls basketball-defensive player of the year.
